We start May 10th 1495 in Hermosa - Aileen to Atriedes, caravan - 30 crew, merchantmen (caravel) 5 passengers, Pezzanini, Dair
Storm while on ship, middle mast broken - Pez down below with horse. Cut up wineskin and wrapped up around spellbook. Four hours later washed up on beach, wreck of ship quarter mile out from shore before went down.
Captain Donovan, Pez, Dair, first officer and 15 crew made it. Crewmen eyeing Pez and Dair. The women leave on horse, 6 guys chase after yelling about staying for just one night.
Head west into a strong wind. Pez sees smoke from fire in distance when roughly a mile away from fire, start walking. Change from rolling hills to plowed farmland. Dair on horseback, Pez holds on to lead of horse.
Pez knocks on door, little pudgy man with curly hair; Russpot Tenpenny (halfling) Hamlet called Hermosa.
Next morning, villagers ask Pez and Dair to stay for summer festival, some crops already coming in, free celebration for all. Local retired bard Barthalomew tells stories about Calador in its prime.
Russpot gets hard time about having hands in other people's pouches. Atriedes City is 3 and half hours ride on road. Eat and go see Barthalomew.
Barthalomew tells about the duke of Atreides city. Been duke for 15 years, father was called iron fist, quite a general, Calador fell - duke is bald and looks like Yul Brynner
Dead walking around, riders coming through - people freaking out. Beastman from the North.
Pez and Alani run to the inn, Pez gets on horse and draws katana, Dair calls spell to mind, Pez makes like fleeing to get horse up to a gallop so can charge. Dair casts magic missile on beastman with spear that's shouting orders.
Beastman throws spear at Dair and buries spear about a foot into a wall. Dair throws shuriken and hits farmer - beast man lops off farmers head.
Lead beast man brings horse around to chase Pez. Everything is shifting towards woods. Pez chasing beastman with food and 3 beastmen chasing her. Dair retrieves shuriken and runs after 3 beastmen. 2 coming towards Dair trying come one on each side. Pez hits with katana then she deflected hit with sword. Pez outdistancing on road riding away from town.
Dair dives behind picnic table, gets hit in upper left thigh, other hit missed, Dair lays on ground and plays dead. Pez falls off horse and pretends to be hurt, but she actually tumbled. She getting her powders out of her pouch.
Beast man pretty confident, he comes forward to get sword. Pez tries her blinding powder and misses and he takes a defensive stance. Dair lies still and one dismounts and pokes her with sword. Her willpower makes it so she doesn’t move – they leave her alone.
Pez uses martial arts and hits beast man in the throat, he goes to hit and misses, Pez misses with iron fist, he inching back towards horse and bringing sword up.
Four riders, 2 starting to torch houses, lots of screaming and crying from inn direction. Pez hits beast man with iron fist and he gets on his horse, Pez chings armor and he takes off.
Dair runs to cottage and hits beastmen with shuriken standing in doorway, throws at another beast man and misses. Then she steps in and closes the door. Grabs dog and boy and jumps up and kicks through window and lands on her feet with boy and dog under arms. Pez rides over to help.
Dair throws dagger at one of the 2 beastmen the come riding at her. She misses, The little boy is clinging to her leg so she can’t move very far. Beastman goes to hit and misses Dair and hits the other beastman.
Pez rides up and hits good beastman twice and the 2 take off. Dair fights guilt trip with kid and sends him off to building no on fire then she stops and binds wound and heads toward inn.
Pez fighting bugbear at inn, hits with katana and rides on by – 1 chasing 2 taking up defense. Pez slowing horse down so they try and blind horse and or bugbear with blinding powder.
Dair trying to move up behind and closer to 2 by inn – she hears one say to throw out the food and valuables. The other puts sword away and gets torch to set on fire. Dair throws dagger and missed the one with the sword.
Pez comes up charging for one with torch – she hits with katana and chops off his head – comrade beside him sees and takes off. Dair jumps on other horse and she and Pez split up to chase. 2 chase Pez, 2 chase Dair. Pez’s horse outruns and Dair doing her best to stay away from her 2 that are chasing her.
2 horsemen catch up to Dair, she does backwards flip off horse and does a couple more backwards flips on the ground and lands on her feet. The 2 beastmen fall off their horses without swords and the Dair falls over dead with both swords thru her back.
Barthalomew tells Rex that they just spent the last 9 days getting ready for the battle with the beastmen – Rex sees Alani come riding in on huge black tiger.
Alani cures on sick woman and prays for remove fear on 15 people.

On way to Atriedes to set up zero level temple holding - had a vision. Woman with magic arm with runes some ancient gods of magic - see woman beheaded and magic is never the same again (magic catastrophe)
